the experience
Mini Session planning includes wardrobe styling, family prep, questionnaires, client closet upgrades, hair & makeup recommendation....the works!! We'll have it all planned out so when you show up for your session, you're in & out of your session and will have a gallery filled with tons of beautiful images in your inbox shortly after your session!
My focus during your session is to capture the connection you share with your family...not with me or my camera. Of course, I'll capture a few with everyone looking at the camera but my goal is to capture all the details that make up your family in this very moment.

Yes! It’s one of my favorite parts of the process! Your outfit choices will make a huge difference in the outcome of your photos. Styling the entire family with me is fun & a big part of the experience!

Scouting the perfect location is another part of the experience. I search for the most gorgeous fields, forests, sunsets….to be sure your location will not disappoint. If you have a location in mind a Full session will be the best option for your session!

Mini Sessions are not the best time to bring your pups with you however, I do have options for mini sessions that will include your pups so keep an eye out for those. Otherwise, a full session would be suggested if you would love to have them in your photos.

Sickness happens & there’s nothing we can do about it. If this is the case on the day of your session just reach out to me & we’ll go over your options for rescheduling your session.
Bad days happen too but don’t let it be the reason you can’t go through with your photoshoot. I will give you an all inclusive guide on tips & tricks to prepare the entire family for an amazing session/experience. I have 15 years of experience photographing kids all ages and I take pride in knowing I can connect quickly & easily with families… resulting in mama taking a deep breath & enjoying this time with her family.
